{"id":41168,"date":"2013-09-09T07:34:00","date_gmt":"2013-09-09T07:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.halegroves.com\/blog\/recipe\/heavenly-orange-angel-food-dessert\/"},"modified":"2022-02-11T12:02:48","modified_gmt":"2022-02-11T12:02:48","slug":"heavenly-orange-angel-food-dessert","status":"publish","type":"cuisine-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.halegroves.com\/blog\/recipe\/heavenly-orange-angel-food-dessert\/","title":{"rendered":"Heavenly Orange Angel Food Dessert Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">INGREDIENTS<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">2\/3 cup sugar<br \/>  1 envelope unflavored gelatin<br \/>  &frac14; cup cold water<br \/>  &frac12; cup boiling water<br \/>  Juice of one lemon<br \/>  1 cup <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Hale orange juice<br \/>  <\/span>1 teaspoon orange flavored liqueur (if desired)<br \/>  1 cup heavy cream, whipped<br \/>  1 loaf Angel Food cake<br \/>  Fresh <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">Hale <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">orange sections<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">PREPARATION<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.&nbsp; Add the boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add lemon juice, Hale orange juice, sugar, and orange liqueur.&nbsp; Mix well and chill in refrigerator until just slightly thickened.&nbsp; Fold in cream.
