{"id":41275,"date":"2012-11-23T23:20:00","date_gmt":"2012-11-23T23:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.halegroves.com\/blog\/recipe\/citrus-stir-fry\/"},"modified":"2022-02-11T12:03:00","modified_gmt":"2022-02-11T12:03:00","slug":"citrus-stir-fry","status":"publish","type":"cuisine-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.halegroves.com\/blog\/recipe\/citrus-stir-fry\/","title":{"rendered":"Citrus Stir Fry Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">INGREDIENTS<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">1\/3 cup&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #ffcc00\">Hale grapefruit juice<br \/>  <\/span>3 tablespoons soy sauce<br \/>  3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided<br \/>  &frac12; teaspoon ground ginger root<br \/>  1 pound boneless pork loin, cut into very thin strips<br \/>  &frac34; pound sea scallops, cut into thin slices<br \/>  1 cup green onions or scallions cut in 1-inch pieces<br \/>  1 cup carrots cut into thin strips<br \/>  2&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #ffcc00\">Hale grapefruit <\/span>peeled and sectioned<br \/>  Hot cooked rice<br \/>  Green pepper julienned (optional)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">PREPARATION<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">In a small bowl, combine grapefruit juice, soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oil and ginger. Add pork strips; cover and let marinate 1 hour at room temperature. Drain pork. Reserve marinade. Combine marinade and cornstarch; set aside.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">In a large skillet or wok, heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil over high heat. Add pork and stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes until browned. Add scallops and continue stir-frying another 2 minutes. Add reserved marinade mixture and green onions, continue stirring until sauce boils and thickens. Gently stir in grapefruit sections. Serve over hot rice.
