It\u2019s a great way to use up fresh <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halegroves.com\/buy-bartlett-pears-online\/p\/bartlett\/\">Bartlett<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halegroves.com\/danjou-pears\/p\/danjoupears\/\">D\u2019Anjou pears<\/a> if you have an abundance, too (though you can expect frequent request for this bread). This recipe makes two loafs \u2013 enjoy one now and freeze one to enjoy later!<\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<p>4 ripe, medium-sized <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halegroves.com\/pears\/c\/ft_1001_13\/\">Hale Groves Pears<\/a>, peeled &amp; finely chopped (about 4 cups)<\/p>\n<p>3 large eggs, room temperature<\/p>\n<p>1\u00bd c. sugar<\/p>\n<p>\u00be c. canola oil<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>3 c. all-purpose flour<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp. baking powder<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp. cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp. baking soda<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp. salt<\/p>\n<p>1 t tsp. lemon juice<\/p>\n<p>1 c. chopped walnuts, optional<\/p>\n<h3>Directions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Combine eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla in a medium-sized bowl, mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt; stir into egg mixture until just moistened. Toss pears with lemon juice and stir into batter along with walnuts (if using). Batter will be thick.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon batter into two greased 9&#8243; x 5&#8243; loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0F for until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean (about 55-60 minutes).
