Sweet, tangy and crunchy, these citrusy treats are fun to make and are a delightful dessert or afternoon snack for kids.<\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<p>2-3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halegroves.com\/treasure-coast-tangerines\/p\/treasurecoasttangerines\/\">Hale Groves Honey-Sweet Tangerines<\/a>, Mandarins or Gold Nuggets<\/p>\n<p>1\u00bd c. granulated sugar<\/p>\n<p>\u00be c. water<\/p>\n<h3>Directions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Thread three tangerines onto wooden skewers and set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Stir together sugar and water in a small pot and set over low heat until sugar has dissolved.<\/li>\n<li>Bring to a boil over medium heat until syrup reaches 300\u00b0F (about 8-10 minutes).<\/li>\n<li>Tilt pot until sugar pools and swirl tangerine skewers in syrup until fruit is coated. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow to cool until sugar coating hardens (about 5-10 minutes).
