At Hale Groves, our story begins in 1947, when Steve and Polly Hale opened a humble roadside fruit stand in Florida's legendary Indian River citrus region. Their mission was simple: share the exceptional taste of fresh, tree-ripened citrus with people who appreciated nature's purest flavors.

Steve, a U.S. Naval Reserve veteran, and Polly, a devoted wife and mother, believed in building something meaningful—for their family and their community. What began with hand-squeezed orange juice and handwritten shipping labels soon grew into a trusted name for premium citrus fruit, delivered nationwide.

While citrus remains our specialty, we occasionally offer unique seasonal fruits to give our customers something special to discover during summer months.
