Florida oranges are healthy and delicious, and they can be used as the basis for many delicious drinks that will be a big hit at parties, girls nights, or other events when you want to make something special and out of the ordinary. Using Florida oranges to make drinks is always a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays, although during the holidays many people like to use premium citrus fruits like Honeybells or Clementines. With Valentines Day quickly approaching you should order some tasty Florida oranges so that you can make some of these exotic drinks for your loved ones on Valentines Day:

Creamsicle – This is a great drink to accompany a cake dessert, or to use as a quick breakfast when you’re pressed for time. During the summer you can whip these up for summer BBQs and delight all of your guests. Just combine from fresh orange juice, milk, vanilla ice cream and sugar in a blender and serve. You can garnish with some whipped cream if you want, but many people prefer this drink plain.

Ginger Orange Spritzer – This drink can also be used to soothe upset stomaches and is very popular with sick kids. When your kids have a stomachache don’t be surprised if they ask for this soothing drink. Just make sure that you are always using fresh Florida oranges to make it. Mix some ginger ale or ginger seltzer with some fresh orange juice and chill. Add extra ginger ale if you want it to taste like an orange soda.

Orange hot chocolate – This is a very popular winter drink that your family will love. Make hot chocolate as usual but squeeze the juice from some fresh Florida oranges into the mug and garnish with some candied orange peel. The combination of the citrus and the chocolate is delicious. You can also make this with fresh Honeybells for a super sweet taste.

These are just a few of the delicious drinks that you can make using Florida oranges. If you want to make cocktails use Florida oranges and some orange simple syrup to create light and refreshing cocktails that your guests will really go crazy for. If you want to add a really festive touch you can make some candied citrus fruit peels from Florida oranges, grapefruits or honeybells to use as spoons in your drinks or as garnishes on the glasses.
