Did you know that tangerines have the potential to help you live a pain free life? Now, some may consider this a bit of a stretch. However, it really is not a stretch since tangerines contain Vitamin C which can reverse the factors that contribute to physical pain. How can it doe this? The process is easier than most people assume…..

Are you a physically active person? If so, then you probably feel a great deal of joint and muscle pain. This is true no matter what your age but as you get older you will discover that the common instances of pain will increase over time. Then again, you will definitely experience pain no matter what your age or activity level is if you have suffered an injury of some sort. But, what exactly is pain? In a nutshell, it can be considered the presence of inflammation in the joints and muscles. That means for pain to subside, you will need something that can help reduce the inflammation. Vitamin C can definitely help in this regard and tangerines are a great source of natural Vitamin C.

This is not to infer that Vitamin C is a pain killer. That is most definitely not the effect you would feel from eating a tangerine! Also, this is not to lead anyone to assume that eating tangerines will lead to a miracle cure for the actual injury. No, the purpose of eating a tangerine is to contribute to the body’s natural ability to heal and reduce the inflammation in the most effective manner possible. So, the effects that you will feel will not be dramatic but they will be noticeable. Additionally, if you make tangerines a regular part of your diet, you will discover that this citrus fruit can reduce the amount of pain you must deal with in life. Of course, this does raise questions as to how many tangerines one needs to eat in order to reap the benefits of it.

One should not look for a specific number of daily servings when eating tangerines for their pain reduction benefits. Instead, one should just add tangerines to a diet if the diet is deficient in them. Having one tangerine per day at breakfast is a good idea. Having one as a snack item is a much better plan than ingesting common junk food items people are prone to eat. Again, if you eat tangerines as a regular part of your diet, you will discover the pain free benefits that they provide.
