Eating grapefruit everyday will also help you maintain a healthy weight because there is an enzyme in grapefruit that will help your body burn fat.

Pink grapefruit is low calorie and has less than one hundred calories per fruit. Pink grapefruit is also high in fiber, which will help you stay full. When you eat a pink grapefruit for breakfast instead of skipping breakfast you will get a boost of healthy energy from the vitamins and minerals in the grapefruit and the fiber will help you feel full so that you don’t end up eating donuts or scarfing down a giant mocha when you get to the office. You can pink grapefruit juice to make delicious sprtizers by mixing fresh pink grapefruit juice with ginger ale, club soda, or even fruit juice. These light and refreshing drinks are perfect for summer picnics and parties. They are also great for girls night in, dinner parties, and kids sleepovers. Making sprtizers is easy and fun and when you use pink grapefruit juice they are healthy too.

Sorbet – A classic low calorie frozen dessert is sorbet, and sorbet is easy to make at home without an ice cream maker. Just boil some fresh pink grapefruit juice together with some sugar and water and refrigerate until it’s very cold and firm. If you freeze sorbet with no alcohol in it then it will freeze into a solid block, so it’s better to refrigerate the pink grapefruit sorbet until it has a slushy consistency.
