This colorful punch combines some of this season’s favorite flavors in one festive concoction: grove fresh and sugar-sweet Ruby Red Grapefruit, tart cranberries, and fragrant rosemary. Prepare it with sparkling cranberry cider (or sparkling wine for an alcoholic version) for your next house party!
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. Hale Groves Ruby Red Grapefruit, juiced
- 1 c. fresh cranberries, chopped roughly
- 2 c. sparkling cranberry juice or wine
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
Directions:
- Stir water, sugar, fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs together in a 2-quart saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Pour cranberry mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a sealed storage container and refrigerate overnight.
- When ready to make the punch, mix together the cranberry mixture, grapefruit juice and sparkling wine or cider in a large pitcher and fill with ice. Garnish with slices of grapefruit, fresh cranberries and/or rosemary sprigs if desired and serve immediately.
