The classic Waldorf Salad gets an autumnal twist thanks to crunchy apples, sweet-tart cranberries, and tart cherries. Fruity and delicious, with just a bit of crunch from the almonds, it will be one of the first things to disappear at your holiday potluck.
Ingredients:
¼ c. mayonnaise
¼ c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. honey
? tsp. salt
2 apples, cubed
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 celery ribs, chopped
½ c. dried cranberries
½ c. slivered almonds, toasted
1 c. Hale Groves Sweet Mountain Bing Cherries, pitted
Directions:
Whisk together first 4 ingredients. In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Add celery, cranberries and almonds; toss with dressing. Gently stir in cherries. Refrigerate, covered, for one hour before serving.
