Grilled Peaches Recipe

The Hale Groves Team

If you’ve never enjoyed sweet, juicy peaches hot off the grill, you’re missing out on one of the joys of summer. Super-easy to prepare, grilled peaches go great with so many things…enjoy them alone or with a scoop of vanilla or butter pecan ice cream; add a dab of butter to the hollow where the pit was and sprinkle with brown sugar or swirl them in cream. They even go well in salads and make a great side with grilled meats!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium.
  2. Halve each peach by running a sharp knife around the seam and separating the two sides, removing and discarding the pit. Brush the cut sides with olive oil.
  3. Place each peach half, cut-down down on the grill until grill marks appear (4-5 minutes).
  4. Flip peach halves onto skin-side and grill until skins are charred and flesh is soft (4-5 minutes). The fruit should be tender, but not falling-apart tender.
  5.  Remove from grill. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream, butter and maple syrup, etc. These grilled peaches even go well with grilled pork!
