Fruit Delivered for Less

At least you have your health…right? Well, not necessarily, and particularly if you’re an American. The once slim and slender nation has been transformed into a land of lumbering souls who share one thing in common. Nearly two-thirds of us are overweight or obese. That’s right! Only one in every three Americans has a waistline that is falls within a healthy range. The rest of us are putting our lives in danger by consuming too much of the wrong types of foods.
What is bad for us?
You don’t need a background in bariatrics to tell the difference between good food and junk food. More often than not, your body will tell you what you should be eating. If you ingest too much fast food, your body will tell you to stop, either by packing on the pounds or messing up your stomach. And if you don’t heed you body’s sage advice, the consequences could be dire.
America has experienced an alarming rise in chronic, deadly diseases and conditions over the past thirty years. They include heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer. These ailments all have one thing in common. You guessed it! All of them are strongly linked to obesity, which is how and why obesity has replaced smoking as the leading cause of preventable death in the nation.
What can we do to stem the tide?
It really is pretty simple…we need to eat better! One of the many reasons why we are ballooning up is because we snack more than ever before. Salty, sugary, buttery treats can be found in vending machines across the nation, both in public and private places. Most schools and offices have them in their break rooms or cafeterias. These foods are bad for us because they are generally high in fat and calories and low in nutritional content. They do not contain the vitamins and minerals we need to make it through the day. As a result, most people who consume them feel tired and sluggish on a daily basis.
What we need
Fruit delivered was once one of the most popular snack foods in the nation. People used to take it to work and enjoyed it with their lunch or as a mid-afternoon snack. But fruit delivered has been largely replaced by pretzels, cookies, and potato chips of late. The result of this switch has adversely affected the health of the nation. These snack foods are responsible for the recent rise in weight-related, chronic diseases in the United States. If we are at all serious about dropping excess pounds and keeping them off, we must eat fruit delivered regularly. Bursting with flavor and all of the nutrients we need to keep us going, fruit delivered is nature’s healthiest snack!
