Fruit Chaat Recipe

INGREDIENTS

6 ounce canned guavas, drained
6 ounce honey dew melon
4 ounce pears
4 ounce apples
4 ounce tangerines
¼ teaspoon cumin seeds, crushed
Pinch chili powder
Pinch finely ground black pepper
2-3 tablespoons sugar or substitute
2 tablespoon fresh orange juice
2 teaspoon lemon juice
Fresh mint leaves, crushed or broken as garnish

PREPARATION

Cut up all fruits into small cubes or tiny segments so that the spices can mingle into fruits easily.  Mix all spices together in a bowl, pour in sugar, orange and lemon juices, stir and shake the mixture to blend them.  Pour over the fruit, mix gently, garnish with mint leaves and chill well before serving.
