Ingredients

2 Cups Galliano Liqueur
28 Ounces Prepared Ketchup
1, 2, or 3 Tbs Hot Sauce (to taste)
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
4 Cups Fresh Honeybell Juice
1/2 Cup Honey

Directions

In a medium stockpot heat Galliano over medium-high heat until simmering. Carefully light the surface to burn off alcohol. Use caution when working with alcohol flames. In a mixing bowl combine ketchup, hot sauce, brown sugar, Honeybell juice, honey, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well and add to pot with Galliano, once the Galliano flame has gone out.

Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to a very slow boil and cook to reduce by one-third. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat once reduced, cover, and allow to cool to room temperature. Stir well and store refrigerated in glass jars with tight fitting lids.

Tips

Substitute yellow mustard for the Worcestershire Sauce for a variation.

Use fresh tangerines if Honeybells are unavailable.

Use as a dipping sauce for fries, chicken tenders, and onion rings.
