You know how lemon seems to go well with raspberry or blueberry? Certain flavors just seem to go together to create a whole new taste treat! That’s true of cherry and lime, and we’re positive this summertime smoothie will be a huge hit. Tangy-sweet, creamy, and satisfying, this healthy smoothie has no processed sugars and serves as a great on-the-go breakfast. Feel free to use frozen cherries in place of fresh if the fruit is out of season.
1 c. Hale Groves Sweet Mountain Bing Cherries, pitted
1 Tbsp. lime juice
1 c. almond milk
1 tsp. honey OR agave nectar (optional)
1 ripe banana
1 Tbsp. almond butter
1 Tbsp. chia OR flax seeds, or a mixture of both
Place all ingredients into a blender in the order listed and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
