• Fruit Salad with Grapefruit-Poppy Seed Dressing Recipe

      INGREDIENTS Lettuce leaves Shredded fresh spinach and /or lettuce 2 Florida red grapefruit, peeled, sectioned, and seeded 2 Florida white grapefruit, peeled, sectioned, and seeded 2 cups strawberries, slices or halved 2 medium avocados, halved, seeded, peeled, and sliced 1 small red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings PREPARATION Line a platter with lettuce leaves. Top with shredded spinach or lettuce. Arrange red and white grapefruit sections, strawberries, and avocados on lettuce. Sprinkle red onion rings on top of fruit.            INGREDIENTS    2 Hale grapefruit ½ cup whole cranberry sauce 1 tablespoon honey ¼ teaspoon cloves ¼ teaspoon salt 1 whole chicken, cut up 2 tablespoons butter or margarine    PREPARATION    Cut and section grapefruit, squeezing all remaining juice from shells into saucepan.  Add cranberry sauce, honey, cloves, and salt.  Mix well and bring to a boil.  Stir in grapefruit sections.  Brown chicken in butter in fry pan, then place in shallow baking dish.  Baste with some of the grapefruit mixture.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes, basting frequently.  Serve chicken with remaining grapefruit…
